ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court on Thursday directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) chairman to resolve the matters with the labour union and sought a reply till September 20. According to reports, Justice Aamir Farooq of IHC heard the petitions filed by CDA employees and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The employees had challenged the transfer of 49 wings of CDA to Metropolitan Corporation. During the course of proceedings, Justice Aamir Farooq remarked that the mayor of Islamabad was the chairman and the employees should resolve their matters with mutual consultation.
The court directed CDA Chairman Ansar Aziz to resolve the issues of employees with consultation with the labour union and directed him to apprise the court of progress till September 20.
Meanwhile, a judicial magistrate on Thursday accepted the bail plea of Raja Arshad, main accused in Barrister Fahad Malik murder case, against Rs 50,000 surety bond.
The Islamabad police recovered the weapon from Raja Arshad, which was used to kill Barrister Fahad Malik and presented the weapon before Judicial Magistrate Waqas Raja. The court directed police to send accused to Adiala jail on 14 days judicial remand.
The court also accepted the bail plea of the accused against Rs 50,000 surety bond and remarked that if the suspect’s name was not nominated in any other FIR then he could be released on bail.
